Federal Forklift Classes Now Available at Massachusetts Hoisting License

Massachusetts Hoisting Classes is now offering

Federal Industrial Forklift 1910.178 Hands-on Classes and

Federal Rough Terrain & Telehandler Classes

The Office of Public Safety and Inspection (OPSI) for the state of Massachusetts sets and oversees infrastructure safety standards across Massachusetts.

OPSI issued regulation 520 CMR 6.00 ordering, in addition to OSHA standards, that no individual can operate a forklift without a license or temporary permit.

The operators of hoisting machinery, and that includes forklifts, with the height of the lift exceeding 10 feet, or if the weight of the load exceeds 500 pounds, must obtain a license to operate the equipment.

Once you know the Forklift Training requirements, then training for licenses can be obtained through Massachusetts Hoisting License.
